The custom-designed kitchen is a welcome addition to the main glamping tent. Fitted with solid oak drawers it features a large porcelain butler’s sink and a small bar fridge. There is also a gas cooker and a whistling kettle! Essentials such as salt and pepper as well as tea and coffee are provided. Fresh ingredients for a light breakfast are also included; enjoy fresh bread, free-range eggs, juice and milk. The kitchen opens out to a covered dining area with a BBQ, which overlooks the pond and orchard. Grazing platters, wine, champagne and strawberries are available as additional extras so you can really enjoy al fresco dining.

In line with the rest of the space, the kitchen is styled to a high standard using beautifully themed pots and pans and there is even an exquisite ceramic teapot if you fancy a cuppa. The kitchen has just about everything you could possibly need for your stay with unique pressed metal cutlery, a bar fridge, glassware, pots and pans, an outdoor BBQ and a gas cooker. So whether you decide to put on your MasterChef hat and cook a three course meal, or live off cheese on crackers you’ll have everything you need on hand.

Al Fresco Dining

You don’t need to go to Italy to experience al fresco dining! The covered outdoor dining area which opens out from the farmhouse kitchen allows you to do just that in the heart of Otorohanga. Comfortable wicker furniture surrounds a wooden table and allows you to absorb the country air while overlooking hilly fields blanketed in greenery. Utilise the BBQ for a quick and easy meal and then sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet.
